Planning Application P/2021/0176 (Riverside Stud)
Members discussed the application in detail and shared their
concerns. The Planning Committee unanimously agreed to raise
the following objections/concerns about this application to
Wrexham Council:
Access road
It is understood that access from Newbridge Road to
Riverside Stud is on a private lane (Riverside Lane) owned
by one of the residents in the houses opposite. The access
has been granted for agriculture use only and not for
residential use which would incur increased footfall
associated with a dwelling . The application does not
address the access issue.
Condition of the land and infrastructure
The site is adjoining the recent Newbridge landslide;
concerns over the suitability of building a dwelling and
associated infrastructure on this moving land. The land is
designated as agriculture land only.
Request that Wrexham County Borough Council do a site visit
to consider the objections.
Action:
Clerk to send objection letter to Wrexham Council.
